Leander is home. It's where I started ET Handyman more than ten years ago, and it's the town I know best, from the older places off Bagdad to the new-build neighborhoods out past Crystal Falls and Travisso. Because the truck starts here, Leander gets my fastest response, and there's no travel charge inside town.
New construction has its own quirks: settling cracks, builder-grade fixtures worth upgrading, punch-list items the builder never came back for. I see them every week and know exactly how to sort them out.
Being based here is the practical difference. There is no drive to price in, so a small job is still worth doing and I can come back to check a finish without it costing anyone a trip. Most of what Leander calls me for is my own trade anyway: drywall and texture, which is the work where matching what is already on your wall decides whether the repair disappears or announces itself.

Are you actually based in Leander?
Yes. I live here and I have run ET Handyman from Leander for over ten years. It is not a call centre routing you to whoever is free. Most Leander jobs I can reach same or next day.
My house is new and already cracking. Should I worry?
Usually not. Out past Crystal Falls and Travisso I see it constantly. Houses move most in their first years and the clay under them makes it worse. Hairline cracks from the corners of doors and windows are the house settling. I will say so if I see one that is not.
