Hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and tile: installed level, tight, and with the trim put back like I were never there.
A floor is the biggest thing you look at in a room, so it's worth doing right. I install hardwood and engineered wood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank, and tile. All of it over a subfloor I've actually checked for flat and squeak first. I pull and reset the baseboard and door casings so the finished job looks built-in, not laid-on.
Old floor coming out? I handle the tear-out and haul-away too, so it's one call, one price, one clean room at the end.
A floor is only as flat as what it sits on, and slabs are rarely as flat as people assume. I measure before quoting, because levelling is the step most often skipped.
Flooring that goes down the day it is delivered has not reached your house's temperature and humidity, and it will move once it does.
Grinding high spots and filling low ones. This is unglamorous and it is the difference between a floor that stays quiet and one that develops hollow spots.
Wood and plank need room to move around the perimeter, hidden under the baseboard. Fitted tight to the wall is how a floor buckles.
Baseboard and quarter round back on, thresholds between rooms, and the edges finished so it looks like it was always there.
I get asked for flooring & hardwood most often in Round Rock.
I look at the job, then put the scope and the price in writing before anything starts. What is written down is what I will do and what it will cost, so there is no conversation at the end about what was and was not included. If I find something unexpected behind the wall you hear about it before I carry on, not after.

Common questions
Sometimes. LVP and laminate can often float over a sound, flat floor. But if there's a squeak, a hump, or moisture, I fix that first. Skipping subfloor prep is how you get a floor that fails in two years.
I'll move the ordinary furniture in the room as part of the job. For a whole-house install, I'll tell you what to clear ahead of time so the work keeps moving.
