A floor is the biggest thing you look at in a room, so it's worth doing right. I install hardwood and engineered wood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank, and tile — over a subfloor I've actually checked for flat and squeak first. I pull and reset the baseboard and door casings so the finished job looks built-in, not laid-on.
Old floor coming out? I handle the tear-out and haul-away too, so it's one call, one price, one clean room at the end.

About flooring & hardwood
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes — LVP and laminate can often float over a sound, flat floor. But if there's a squeak, a hump, or moisture, I fix that first. Skipping subfloor prep is how you get a floor that fails in two years.
Do you move the furniture?
I'll move the ordinary furniture in the room as part of the job. For a whole-house install, I'll tell you what to clear ahead of time so the work keeps moving.
