How often should I have my gutters cleaned?
In live-oak country, twice a year — late spring after the leaf drop and late fall — keeps you out of trouble. If you're surrounded by big trees, I'll be honest about whether guards are worth it for you.
Do you fix gutters, not just clean them?
Yes — re-securing loose sections, replacing broken hangers, re-sloping a run that's pooling, and reattaching downspouts are all part of the visit.
