I build cedar and composite decks, pergolas and shade covers, and the stairs, railings and framing that go with them, on footings sized for my clay soil so it doesn't shift.

About patios & decks
Cedar or composite?
Cedar is warmer, cheaper up front, and needs re-sealing every couple of years. Composite costs more but you never sand or seal it. I'll walk you through the trade-off for your yard and your patience.
Will you match my house?
That's the goal — post style, railing and stain chosen to look like they came with the house, not bolted on after. I'll show you options before I build.
